[Siren Everlasting Classic ManLove Erotic Alternative Romance, M/M, HEA] Harvey James was as bad-ass as they came. A former enforcer for biker gang, he now owns the Rusty Nail Bar and Grill. He has firm rules about the kind of people he allows into his bar. So, when several of members of his former gang show up, he's wary. His apprehension turns to outrage when he's offered a beaten down man in exchange for free drinks on the house. Knowing he needs to rescue the young man, he accepts the deal, starting a series of events that tests his strength and strips him of his fine-honed control. Because Joey Baker isn't just a man to be bartered, he's a man Harvey wants to keep. The last year of Joey's life has been pure hell. Kidnapped and held captive by a man that derives pleasure out of torturing others, he finds himself being traded for a round of drinks. Rendered unable to speak due to the abuse he has suffered, Joey has no way to protest or ask for help, so when it comes, Joey doesn't trust the help that is offered, or the man that offers it. When Harvey and Joey are faced with an impossible situation, finding common ground may prove to be harder than they thought. The lack of communication combined with the growing desire between them adds tension to an already dangerous situation. When the man that took Joey comes back for him, learning to trust each other may be the only way to save them both. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Sigh…. I’m such a sucker for a wounded bird.Harvey, we only got glimpses of here and there thus far, but he’s the owner of the Rusty Nail. Once an enforcer for a biker gang, he’s happy and settled in his life in Cade Creek. Who wouldn’t be though, honestly… I’d love to go there, if only to see all these hot boys and their men!! ANYWAY…. All is fine and good until a blast from the past in the form of an evil ex-brother from the club and his “pet”… When Harvey see’s the guy is badly beaten, severely malnourished, dirty and scared, he barters a free round on the house for an hour with the guys’ “pet.
Joey got nabbed outside a bar ten months ago and has been living with the club and the sadistic man who’s tortured him and passed him around to trade for things he wanted. He’d been badly beaten and used, and although terrified to breathe most of the time, he couldn’t speak at all from damage to his voice box after being strangled until he passed out too many times.
You WILL NOT like him… I’m warning you now. The way he treated Joey and seemingly got away with it made me sick to my stomach. Luckily, once Harvey gets ahold of Joey, he keeps him safe, and Harvey is the safe space that Joey needed. I loved how he turned to him when he needed him. It was understandable. He’d gone through so much, he needed a safe place.
I did think that he just seemed to get over everything rather quickly….. like, I would think with all the unwilling sex he was forced into and the months of actual torture, that it would mess with him more than it did. I mean, even the time he escaped and was forced by the sheriff to go back to the man holding him captive (by the way, how was that allowed? I didn’t like that he got away with it too), but the psychological trauma would be just as worse as the physical and emotional, I would think…. Still, it seemed like once Joey’s bruises were healed, he was just kind of over it all…. After he’d been so scared and seemingly traumatized there in the beginning… I dunno, maybe I’m nitpicking.
And of course, we have more conflict that could’ve and should’ve been solved with just a simple conversation. One assumes what the other feels and instead of asking, just leaves, or the other assumes and pulls away and instead of just asking, leaves… and it’s just like…. JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER FOR THREE SECONDS!!! ….. I guess there wouldn’t be much of a story then, eh? But still… it’s frustrating
I’m really hoping we get a story about Dorian, that kind of threw me for a loop there at the end (which was very abrupt, in my opinion), but I didn’t think I was going to like him… I was mad that he too, seemed to get away with just letting Joey be held against his will and bartered with sex and abuse… but, there in that last chapter, I found myself hoping for him. So, fingers crossed… I’m jumping into the next book now. Love seeing all the other guys that pop up here and there and can’t wait for more!
On to the next! 4 stars from me!

It's okay
This was totally awesome I Loved it can't wait to read more of this series it just keeps beeping great ....
I read the proceeding book first and saw reference to the two characters in this book so decided to check it out. I really liked the story and it rounded out the other story for me. I liked it a lot. I often buy from this author.
Oh what a wonderful book. I can't wait for the next one. Have you every had a book that you just know is going to touch your heart in some way that you just can't put it down till it is done. Well I have some big news for you this is one of those types of books.
This is my favourite Stormy Glenn book in a long time. There were good characters, drama, action and romance. I always enjoy a romance where one character is more dominant, but don't worry because Joey gains confidence and comes into his own as well. The only thing I'd like was if it was longer. Excellent!
What a read from beginning to end I was hooked! I love this series and I really enjoy the different characters as well as the cameos from the previous characters in the other stories. This was a great story by Ms Glenn I really enjoyed enjoyed Harley the big bad ex biker coming to the rescue of Joey a kidnapped victim who has been through so much and doesn't believe there's a way out. What a story I look forward to the next installment in this series and I hope that there maybe a story in there somewhere for Harvey's brother Dorian I sense there's more to him them what I've read so far.
"Better Than Good" is a great M/M action/romance !! Former Biker gang enforcer, Harvey runs a bar and is hoping for a quieter life. In walks Razor and his men who are there to cause trouble. Razor wants to trade his "slave" for rounds of drinks, and Harvey sees red. The poor guy who is on his knees, dirty, beaten and mute, is in agony. Harvey agrees to the deal in order to get "Joey" away from the bad guys. He takes him up to his apartment and gets him cleaned and fed. Joey doesn't know what to do, he's been traded before with very awful results. But Harvey is proving to be different. Joey can't talk because he's been choked by Razor so often the swollen tissues never get to heal. Harvey works with the sheriff and keeps Joey safe. Feelings for him are coming fast and Harvey is ashamed of himself for his feelings, when he is the protecter. Joey likes the emotions they feel. Kidnapped again, Joey is saved by Harvey and company, returned to his Dad, and after a year is finally healed. Will Joey go back and get Harvey to see if their deep emotions are still good?
Well written and interesting, with hot M/M sex, and wonderful characters, this story will make you happy.
Highly recommend. ENJOY !!!
